Planning Policy and Neighbourhood Plan
West Meon’s Village Design Statement is a historic planning document and is no longer being actively updated.
The Parish Council has considered whether to develop a Neighbourhood Plan. This work is currently on hold and no formal Neighbourhood Plan process is underway, awaiting the results of the SDNP Local Plan.
The most recent consultation on the emerging South Downs Local Plan has now closed. The South Downs National Park Authority is reviewing the responses received before the plan moves to its next stages.
The Parish Council will use this page to share future updates relating to the South Downs Local Plan, neighbourhood planning and other planning-policy matters affecting West Meon.
